Welcome to our Consultation Site for the YMCA Movement's Leadership Development Strategy.
On this microsite you will find everything you need to get up to speed on the proposed new Leadership Development Strategy & Implementation Plan, with several different ways to feed back your comments before 8th August 2011.
To find your way around easily, we recommend you take the following actions:
1. Watch the video presentations
We have four video presentations from key people involved in the development of the strategy, explaining why it is so important, and saying how you can get involved.
2. Read key snapshots from the strategy
The main elements of the strategy are presented on this site for you to read, rate and comment online.
3. Download the full report
If you want to read the full report and comment in more detail, you can download it and email your comments to the YMCA Leadership Development Task Group.
4. Discuss the strategy online
There are several discussion forums on this site and members of the Leadership Development Task Group have already posted questions. Please join in the conversation, ask your own questions or share your thoughts.

5. Download supporting materials for colleagues
You can share the recommendations of the strategy with colleagues at your team meetings, regional networks or board events. Use the downloadable presentation materials we've prepared to support these discussions.

5. Register interest in the pilot leadership development programme
Early in the autumn, there will be several leadership development options available to YMCA leaders to test the recommendations in the strategy. To find out more, watch video two in the video presentations and email your interest to: ymcalead.dev@england.ymca.org.uk
